The Moorefield Town Council has set Sunday, December 3, 2023, as the date for the annual Christmas parade. Line up for the parade will begin at the Moorefield Town Park on Spring Avenue at 3:30 PM. The parade will proceed west on Spring Avenue and turning left onto Main Street. The parade will continue south until it reaches the downtown stoplight and then turning west onto Winchester. The parade will end on Town Run Road. After the parade, there will be festivities at the corner of Winchester and Main in the parking lot. The annual tree lighting will take place, hosted by the Moorefield Lions Club. After the tree lighting, there will be a nativity scene, Christmas songs and carols, and food trucks.
