The Town of Moorefield is pleased to announce the annual Fall Cleanup, scheduled for October 20–23, 2025. This is a great opportunity for residents and business owners to beautify their properties and prepare for the winter season.
Residents are encouraged to focus on lawn care, weed control, property cleanup, culvert maintenance, and seasonal enhancements. Please place items at the curb the night before your designated pickup day according to the Zone Collection Schedule [see Zone chart below].
🚫 Please note:
- No household trash, hazardous materials, batteries, paint, oil, liquids, or items containing Freon
- All brush and boards must be bundled (4 feet maximum length)
- Excessive quantities will not be picked up

In addition, the Last Free Brush Days of 2025 will take place on:
- Tuesday, October 7th (8AM – 12PM)
- Saturday, October 25th (8AM – 12PM)
Residents may bring brush, grass, and leaves free of charge to the Old Waste Water Plant on Stalnaker Drive.
🚫 No commercial dumping, no building materials, trash, or tree limbs over 8 feet will be accepted.
